Trafalgar Entertainment buys Glasgow’s Pavilion Theatre

The future of a Glasgow theatre, which has hosted stars from Charlie Chaplin and Harry Lauder to Billy Connolly and Lulu, has been secured.

Trafalgar Entertainment has bought the 1,440-seat Pavilion Theatre for an undisclosed sum.

It is the first time London-based Trafalgar has ventured north of the border. It already owns venues in London, Cardiff, Southend, Crewe, Hayes and Wycombe, as well as the Theatre Royal in Sydney, Australia.
