Developer Kajima has hired a project manager from Bloomberg to join its London-based team.
Philip McLaughlin joins Kajima as project director, overseeing the delivery of the company’s development projects in London and Europe, focusing on logistics and student accommodation.
During 13 years at Bloomberg, McLaughlin held roles including global lead in the capital management project office. He worked on projects across 15 European locations including the company’s £1bn City of London headquarters.
Kajima’s London portfolio includes the development of Orwell House in the West End and the redevelopment of 77 Coleman Street in the City.
