Meta Platforms is thought to be laying the groundwork to cut or relocate around 100 Instagram staff based in London.
The social media app’s boss Adam Mosseri is planning to move back to the US after temporarily relocating to London last year, according to reports.
Instagram staff with roles that have not been cut are also expected to move back to the US.
Mosseri had set up his base last year at Meta’s offices at King’s Cross, N1.
The news comes as the Facebook owner has begun notifying staff who are losing their roles as part of 10,000 job cuts, as outlined by boss Mark Zuckerberg last month.
