Amancio Ortega, the billionaire founder of Zara, has closed a deal to buy an office building in Fitzrovia, W1, for £82m.
Pontegadea Inversiones SL bought the office, at 33 Foley Street, from Abrdn. The premises were formerly occupied by the BBC.
The deal comes after Ortega bought a luxury residential building with 120 homes for rent in Dublin, for around €100m (£88m) last month.
