Cushman & Wakefield appoints head of hospitality UK & Ireland

Cushman & Wakefield has named Ed Fitch as head of hospitality UK and Ireland.

Fitch, who has been a partner at Cushman & Wakefield for five years, previously held the position of executive vice-president at JLL’s hotels & hospitality group.

Fitch will be responsible for Cushman & Wakefield’s hospitality sector clients across capital markets, development and investor services.

He will oversee the team’s UK hospitality service line leads, including Rob Seabrook and Richard Candey, and work with partner Carl Ridgely.

Fitch will also retain leadership for hospitality capital markets in the Benelux region.

Jonathan Hubbard, head of EMEA hospitality at Cushman & Wakefield, said: “The UK and Ireland is the most liquid hotel market in Europe and is a key focus for the continued growth of our EMEA Hospitality Group.”

Fitch said: “Our understanding of past cycles is a key strength that enables us to deliver the best advice to our clients and I am excited at the prospects for the UK market.”
