BNP PRE connects with National Grid

BNP Paribas Real Estate has been appointed to deliver land management and transaction services for the National Grid.

It has been awarded an initial five-year contract, which includes the option to extend for up to an additional three years.

BNP PRE will advise on property strategy, covering sales, lettings, agency services, rent and service charges, associated treasury, business rates and land management for National Grid.

Louise Barnes, senior director, property management at BNP PRE, said: “National Grid was seeking best-in-class strategic partners to help it deliver its ambitious property strategy while ensuring effective risk management, health and safety, and a fit-for-purpose compliant estate.”

Prem Gabbi, director of UK land and property at National Grid, added: “Working together with our supply chain, we are embedding a results-driven culture as we strive to continue delivering for our customers and achieving our ambitious targets around net zero and the clean energy transition.”
