Native Residential grows Northern BTR presence
Native Residential has been appointed as the operator for two new build-to-rent schemes in the North of England.
In Manchester, Cheyne Capital, funded through Cheyne Capital’s Impact Real Estate strategy, has chosen Native Residential to operate and manage its Poplin development.
The scheme comprises 144 one-to-three-bedroom BTR homes, as well as 3,500 sq ft of amenities including a residents’ lounge, co-working spaces, private dining room and a communal roof terrace.

In the North East, Durham County Council has appointed the operator to run the Gardens, the residential component of Milburngate, a 450,000 sq ft mixed-use neighbourhood with office, retail, leisure and residential space in Durham.
The Gardens has 153 BTR homes, 230,000 sq ft of grade-A offices, more than 60,000 sq ft of retail and leisure space, and a 92-bedroom Premier Inn hotel. It has been developed in partnership with Arlington Real Estate and Richardson.
