Lick of paint raises Gloucester street values by 30%

Property prices on a street in Gloucester have risen by 30% after the houses were painted a range of bright and breezy colours.

Artist and property developer Tash Frootko has repainted 63 homes on Hopewell Street, making it appear like Tobermory or Notting Hill.

It is part of a wider scheme she started in 2018 to turn Gloucester into the “rainbow city”. Since then she has painted 134 houses, and used more than 1300 litres of paint.
