Allsop has released its June residential auction catalogue, offering 218 lots, 21 of which are guided at £1m or above.
The catalogue features a mix of investment and development opportunities across the UK, including houses and flats, ground rent investments and development sites.
Highlights include a freehold block of 34 self-contained flats in Surrey (pictured), with 26 flats subject to assured shorthold tenancies and eight flats sold off, with the total current rent reserved of £292,763 per annum, guided at £4.5m+; a mixed-use development/investment opportunity in Kingston upon Thames, comprising a former pub extending to approximately 10,000 sq ft and five self-contained two-bedroom flats, guided at £3.25m+; a freehold four-storey building in Marylebone, extending to approximately 2,800 sq ft, comprising a vacant commercial unit (class E) with a vacant four-bedroom flat above, guided at £2.55m+; and a block of four self-contained flats in Liverpool, with the total current rent reserved at £174,180 per annum, guided at £1.4m+ (GIY of 12.44%).
The catalogue also features less conventional assets, such as air space, a care home and a former church.
Last month saw Allsop’s residential auctions return to the ballroom following three years of online-only trading. The May auction raised over £47m+ from the sale of 136 lots.
Allsop says its residential auction team has now adopted a flexible approach, with some residential sales set to take place in the ballroom, while others will be exclusively online.
Allsop partner and auctioneer Richard Adamson said: “In an economic climate with high inflation and rising borrowing costs, this catalogue offers plenty of opportunities for buyers looking for income as well as value-add opportunities.”
The auction is scheduled to take place on 22 June 2023 at the Berkeley Hotel in Knightsbridge.
