Aire Valley, a joint venture between Harworth and Evans Property Group, has lodged plans to further expand its industrial scheme in Leeds.
The proposed new development will sit on the 65-acre site known as the Knostrop land, which forms a part of the wider Temple Green and Gateway 45 project, spanning across 2.6m sq ft. It is considered to be the largest logistics and manufacturing development in the Leeds City Region Enterprise Zone.
Proposals for expansion comprise nine warehouse and distribution facilities, totalling 817,250 sq ft.
The largest development on the site will be a 334,000 sq ft warehouse, called South 325.
The smallest building will be known as East 9, spanning across 9,000 sq ft and surrounded by sister developments East 105, East 45 and 17, measuring 105,000 sq ft, 45,000 sq ft and 17,000 sq ft, respectively.
The remaining buildings were named North 135, North 71, and North 45, providing 135,000 sq ft, 71,500 sq ft and 45,000 sq ft, respectively.
At the time of submission there is no identified occupiers for the proposed development, but Aire Valley said it has received market interest and is in commercial discussions.
