Developer Rightacres has received planning approval for a 35-storey tower next to Cardiff Central station.
Plot 5 Central Square will be the tallest tower in Wales and provide 364 homes.
The scheme forms part of the ongoing regeneration of Central Square, completing a wider masterplan designed by Foster and Partners which includes a transport interchange, BBC Cymru Wales headquarters, HMRC offices and more than 500,000 sq ft of commercial space.
The Scott Brownrigg-designed scheme will also provide residents’ amenity spaces and internal cycle parking.
