Plans approved for ‘ultra-sustainable’ Park Royal shed

GLi, a joint venture between KSP and Patrizia, has gained planning approval for an “ultra-sustainable” warehouse in Park Royal, NW10.

The site, called PR2, is the jv’s second location in Park Royal. It will measure 76,911 sq ft.

PR2 will be redeveloped on a net zero carbon basis. It will also be 100% electric powered, offer EV charging points and built to accommodate future battery storage.

The jv’s first site, PR1, is prelet to Classic Fine Foods.

Luke LeBrun, director, asset management at Patrizia, said: “In order to meet the challenges posed by rapid urbanisation and the demand to decarbonise, we must deliver logistics assets that truly place sustainability at their heart.

“Our GLi platform aims to deliver best-in-class urban logistics properties in key parts of London from the ground up, which will play a key role in serving Londoners in a cleaner, more efficient way that drives maximum value for all stakeholders.”
