CBRE makes Eastdil senior capital markets hire

CBRE has rehired global capital markets specialist Brendon Frye as a senior director following a two-year stint at investment bank Eastdil Secured.

Frye will join the capital markets team and will be responsible for coordinating international capital from across the globe into real estate sectors across the UK. He will report into Chris Brett, head of capital markets for Europe, and James O’Neill, head of equity placement at CBRE Capital Advisors.

Frye (pictured) joined Eastdil in 2021 and became a senior vice president. Prior to that, he was a director in CBRE’s international capital markets team, focusing on Asian capital.

Brett said: “Following a quick correction in pricing relative to other national markets, we are once again seeing evidence of international capital looking to deploy into UK commercial real estate, including new market entrants, and we only expect this momentum to increase once the economy starts to stabilise.

“The fact that Brendon’s role will be sector-agnostic will enable him to help our international clients deploy capital across the board, both directly through our investment teams and indirectly through our Capital Advisors team.”

Frye added: “I am looking forward to rejoining colleagues old and new at CBRE and leveraging the firm’s vast global platform to tap into international capital sources.”
