CWG hires Grosvenor’s Brewster to lead Wood Wharf development

Canary Wharf Group has hired Grosvenor’s Jack Brewster as development director for Wood Wharf.

Brewster will be charged with delivering CWG’s masterplan for the neighbourhood, which will add 5.5m sq ft of development, including 2m sq ft of office space, 400,000 sq ft of retail and community space and more than 3,600 homes.

Development managing director Tom Venner said: “With his impressive track record in leading innovative developments in London, Jack will bring a host of expert skills and experience to further develop our residential mixed-use neighbourhood at Wood Wharf.”

Brewster said: “With thousands of new homes set for delivery over the next few years, we will be significantly growing our residential community and creating an amazing new neighbourhood, integrated alongside some truly innovative, mixed-use commercial buildings.”

Brewster was most recently a development director at Grosvenor, where he was instrumental in the inception and growth of its new residential lending business. Prior to that, he led Grosvenor’s estate development programme across its 300-acre London estate.
