Cushman hires from CBRE for UK asset services role

Cushman & Wakefield has nabbed CBRE’s Andrea Penman to lead its UK asset services arm.

Penman (pictured) was most recently chief operating officer at CBRE’s UK property management business. She spent more than six years following senior property and facilities management roles in the legal sector. Prior to that she was estates director at Broadgate Estates.

Karen Clements, managing director of UK asset services and valuation and advisory at Cushman, said: “We believe our asset services proposition is distinct and market leading, reflecting the industry shift from managing physical real estate to delivering space as a service, consciously curating experiences that deliver value for both occupiers and investors.

“Penman’s appointment reflects the strategic importance of asset services to our UK and EMEA business and supports our objective of growing our asset services business in a way that reshapes the UK property management market.”

Penman succeeds Nick Ridley, who is leaving to start his own business after 22 years with Cushman.
