Watkin Jones appoints investment director

Watkin Jones has appointed George Dyer as group investment director.

Dyer’s appointment followed previous investment director Alex Pease moving to the role of interim chief executive.

The group’s former chief executive Richard Simpson stepped down earlier this month.

The board asked Pease to take on the role of interim chief executive, with effect from 19 July, while it searches for a permanent replacement.

Dyer joined Watkin Jones in 2020 and previously held the role of head of divestment and asset management.

Prior to Watkin Jones, Dyer was a partner at Cushman & Wakefield. He was also the head of UK investment management at Global Student Accommodation Group.
