Plans in for Kadans’ Manchester life sciences building

Kadans Science Partner has submitted proposals to deliver a 215,000 sq ft life science building at Upper Brook Street in Manchester.

The scheme forms a part of the wider Upper Brook Street masterplan, spanning across more than 700,000 sq ft of life sciences space and 1,840 student beds.

The building consists of a ground floor with forum seating, a public café and a start-up incubator space, plus seven upper floors, designed to suit a range of tenant sizes and sectors.

The new development will be located adjacent to the Oxford Road Corridor and opposite to Manchester University facilities, including the Henry Royce Institute, the Alan Turing Institute and the National Graphene Institute.

Kadans senior development manager Will Fogden said: “The Manchester science and technology market continues to grow, and we look forward to showcasing our vision which will be a benchmark for much needed technical real estate.”
