Kadans signs new tenant at London Innovation Centre

Gene therapy company AviadoBio is the latest wet lab tenant to take space at Kadans Science Partner’s newly completed London Innovation Centre.

The building at 20 Water Street, E14, comprises 40,000 sq ft, including fully fitted, flexible, wet labs on levels four and five. Units range from 250 sq ft to more than 2,000 sq ft and tenants also have the option of renting a bench in a shared lab or taking their own private lab.

AviadoBio chief executive Lisa Deschamps said: “We are very excited about our new partnership with Kadans and our laboratory and office space in the innovation centre.”

Claudia Tripp, Kadans Science Partner’s commercial asset manager, said: “Attracting AviadoBio to the innovation centre so soon after its opening underscores both the level of demand for flexible, high-quality wet lab facilities and the high quality of the product we have delivered at 20 Water Street.”

Kadans and Canary Wharf Group are also progressing their joint venture to develop an 823,000 sq ft GIA commercial health and life sciences building, the largest in Europe, on the 8-acre North Quay site, which is expected to be completed in 2027.
