Evelyn Partners to relocate to CEG’s Bristol EQ scheme

Wealth management and professional services group Evelyn Partners has agreed terms to relocate its Bristol office to CEG’s EQ development.

Evelyn Partners is set to move its 250 staff to the scheme’s fourth floor, measuring 27,382 sq ft.

The development, at 111 Victoria Street, is Bristol’s first new office scheme to target delivering net-zero carbon in operation, in accordance with the UKGBC framework. It is also seeking a NABERS five-star rating.

The deal takes EQ to 65% pre-let. Other EQ tenants will include HSBC bank, Paymentsense and Arup.

When works complete, the property will be completely electric and use solar panels, rainwater will be collected and reused, and there will be an aim to send zero waste to landfill.

Nigel Hardy, managing partner of Evelyn Partners’ Bristol office, said: “Taking space at this building supports our commitment as a firm to environmental sustainability and achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions in our corporate operational footprint.”
