EV charging firm plugs into new City HQ

EV charging station firm Char.gy has taken a lease in the City for its new London HQ, relocating from Spitalfields.

The firm will occupy around 4,000 sq ft on the sixth floor at 55 King William Street, EC4, at a rent of £67.50 per sq ft. The lease spans five years, with a break at year three.

An initial two-month period will be rent-free, with a further month post-break.

Char.gy was previously based on the second floor of 60-62 Commercial Street, E1.

Data from Radius shows the previous building had an EPC rating of D, while 55 King William Street is rated C.

HRE advised the landlord; Mellersh & Harding represented the tenant.
