Mission Street bolsters advisory board to oversee Bristol project

Mission Street has added Nick Sturge to its advisory board to curate the delivery of an innovation hub at 1 Temple Way in Bristol.

The appointment is expected to help steer Mission Street’s strategy in the South West as it prepares to bring forward a 145,000 sq ft development known as Projekt. The scheme is set to reimagine the former Evening Post Building. The new life sciences facility has been designed to provide wet labs, dry labs, offices and more than 7,000 sq ft of shared collaboration space.

In his role, Sturge will advise on the curation of the proposed occupiers at the scheme.

Sturge currently serves as a non-executive director and chair of techSPARK, a not-for-profit network for the tech cluster in Bristol and Bath. He is also the founder of Bristol’s Engine Shed innovation hub.

Artem Korolev, founder and chief executive of Mission Street, said: “Nick’s advice on our Projekt scheme will prove an invaluable resource when it comes to ensuring that the region can continue its trajectory as one of the country’s leading hubs for research and development and innovation by addressing the mismatch in lab infrastructure.”

Earlier this year, the firm grew its advisory board with the appointment of Peter Finan, Jonathan Hepple and Tim Funnell
