SEGRO names new European head of investment

SEGRO has promoted Philipp Oevermann to head of investment for continental Europe.

Oevermann has worked at the company for more than five years and was previously director of logistics in Germany.

In his new role he will oversee the management and growth of SEGRO’s portfolio across European markets, including asset recycling and acquisition.

Marco Simonetti, managing director for continental Europe, said: “We continue to be focused on expanding our portfolio of well-located, sustainable warehousing in and around major population centres to capitalise on the strong demand driven by urbanisation and the growth of e-commerce.”
