The market for London’s most expensive homes has remained “robust” this year, according to new figures from Savills.
The agent reported 390 sales of properties for £5m or more in the capital during the first nine months of the year.
The number of transactions was down on the 459 in the same period in 2022 – a record year for the high-end market – but 67% higher than the three year pre-pandemic average.
These figures included 120 properties valued at £10m or more, which was 50% higher than the pre-pandemic average.
Chelsea, Kensington and Belgravia accounted for a third of the sales of £5m-plus properties.
