Pentland’s Finchley campus to become housing

Pentland’s campus in Finchley will be redeveloped as housing, once the sporting goods company moves to Farringdon.

The Rubin family’s sporting goods empire is vacating its campus in Finchley, N3. The campus boasts a swimming pool, gym and a lakeside cafe. It was dubbed one of the UK’s best office environments when it was opened by Margaret Thatcher in 1987.

Pentland is shrinking its office space by three-quarters to 30,000 sq ft and will move to the fourth floor of Arax Properties’ 200,000 sq ft Johnson Building, EC1, in the spring.
