James Pellatt is to step down from his role as director of innovation at Great Portland Estates after 12 years at the company.
Pellatt, who joined the london developer in 2011 as head of projects, has spent the past five years focused on technology and innovation, and has been instrumental in driving GPE’s digital transformation strategy.
One of the first wave of real estate directors to promote and instil a culture of digital change within the wider property sector, Pellatt is considered one of the leading advocates for large-scale digital transformation across the industry.
Announcing his departure, Pellatt said: “I have decided that it is time to explore a new chapter in my career. One of the great strengths of GPE is its focus on central London, and my time there has allowed me to lead the delivery of an exceptional development pipeline and deliver digital transformation to the business. I now wish to take my expertise in property and technology and deliver meaningful change on a broader scale.”
