Investors based in the Middle East have highlighted properties in London as their main investment pick on the back of its market dynamics.
Research from Al Rayan Bank shows a third bought commercial and residential real estate in the capital over the past year, exceeding any other global market. Those investors spent an average of $90.8m each in the year to the end of July.
More than 80% of investors, from Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, said their confidence in the UK market grew over the past year. The majority intend to make new investments or up their investments in the UK in the next five years.
