British Land appoints ex-Kennedy Wilson boss as non-exec

British Land has appointed former Kennedy Wilson president Mary Ricks as a non-executive director.

Ricks’ new role will take effect on 1 November.

Ricks recently stepped down as president of Kennedy Wilson, where she worked for 32 years. During her time there, she oversaw the launch of its European business and subsequent IPO in London in 2014. She has more than 35 years’ experience of the UK, European and US property markets.

She was group president at Kennedy Wilson for five years until 2023, serving as a board member with a focus on the investment and asset management business.

Ricks has also set up her own family foundation, which supports educational and children’s charities.

Tim Score, chairman of British Land, said: “Her depth of real estate expertise across a variety of markets will provide valuable insight as we continue to execute our value-add strategy.”
