The 24-hour gym franchise Anytime Fitness has taken 4,500 sq ft at Topland’s Paradise View in central Birmingham.
Topland has teamed up with Colico to redevelop the former office building, known previously as Beneficial Building, into 159 build-to-rent flats and 8,000 sq ft of retail and amenity space. Completion is expected later this year.
Paradise View sits next to the city’s £700m Paradise masterplan, which spans across 120,000 sq ft of retail space, three new public squares and grade-A office space.
Sol Zakay, chairman and chief executive of Topland, said: “Our plans for Paradise View have breathed new life into a dormant building, as we deliver housing and amenity that will support the wider regeneration framework for Paradise, Birmingham.”
