Plans have been revealed for the delivery of a 23-storey build-to-rent tower in Manchester.
Developer Zephyr X is looking to bring forward a scheme comprising 237 one- and two-bedroom flats on land bound by Cheetham Hill Road, Carnarvon Street and Gibson Place.
The building, designed by Hawkins\Brown, is expected to complement the cluster of new buildings emerging around the Great Ducie Street, Green Quarter and Red Bank area.
Proposals for the scheme are expected to be finalised and submitted to Manchester City Council after a public consultation, which runs until mid-November. Subject to receiving planning permission, construction could get under way next year.
Graham Haydon-White, managing director at Zephyr X, said: “We hope to support the ongoing regeneration of this vibrant corner of Manchester and help meet the established demand for accommodation in the city centre.”
