National property consultancy Eddisons has bought Andrew Forbes Surveyors, strengthening its operations in the South West.
The Bristol-based firm, established in 1995 and headed by managing director David Chichester, provides commercial valuation and building consultancy services across the South West.
Its team of 18 employees will now integrate with Leeds-headquartered Eddisons, which has 25 offices across the UK. The acquisition sees Eddisons expand its national valuations team to more than 100.
This is the third acquisition of the year for Eddisons, following its deals to buy Sheffield-based auctioneer Mark Jenkinson and Lincoln property consultancy Banks Long & Co.
Eddisons, led by managing director Anthony Spencer, now employs more than 400 people.
