Shaftesbury Capital NEDs to step down

A trio of non-executive directors are set to leave Shaftesbury Capital.

Anthony Steains, Jennelle Tilling and Helena Coles will step down from the board from 31 January.

The company said the changes reflect “the excellent progress on integration since completion of the merger between Capital & Counties Properties and Shaftesbury and the move towards a more efficient organisational structure”.

They follow the news that chief operating officer Chris Ward, formerly Shaftesbury’s finance director, will leave the role this month.

Chairman Jonathan Nicholls said: “I would like to thank Anthony, Jennelle and Helena for their exceptional service and significant contribution to the company and the former businesses. Their support, particularly through a period of significant change has been greatly valued and we wish them well for the future.”
