The government is not serious about its climate pledges, Alok Sharma has said.
The former business secretary and president of the COP26 climate change summit in Glasgow in 2021, said the government was pursuing policies that were “actually the opposite of what we agreed to do”.
Last week, Chris Skidmore, the government’s former net zero tsar, resigned in protest at the government’s stance.
