Every part of the UK has been levelled down since 2010

Every part of the UK has been levelled down since 2010, according to the Centre for Cities.

A new report shows that every city in the UK, apart from Belfast, has seen a rise in the number of children living in relative poverty and a £10,000-plus fall in average income.

The urban policy think tank said successive government initiatives, including the levelling up agenda, have made little difference.

The present parliament is set to be the first on record in which average incomes decline.
