Mitie experienced record-breaking rapid growth in the last quarter, as it picked up contracts from the likes of Landsec.
The cleaner, caretaker and outsourced workplace services group said it had made £1.1bn in revenue in the three months to the end of 2023, the third quarter of its financial year. It has forecast profit to be £190m.
New contract wins and renewals included the stations of Network Rail, the King George Hospital in east London, Landsec’s commercial offices and several government departments.
