The Archdiocese of Liverpool has appointed CBRE to market a three-acre site in the Knowledge Quarter, which could accommodate more than 918 student beds, around 462 homes or up to 300,000 sq ft of lab and office space.
The Mount Vernon Road site is surrounded by significant city centre assets including Paddington Village, the New Royal Liverpool University Hospital, Clatterbridge Cancer Centre, Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and University of Liverpool.
Brock Carmichael Architects conducted feasibility studies for the site. It could accommodate a purely residential offering with 462 homes, a 918-bed PBSA across four buildings or a mixed-use scheme, including provisions for offices, lab space or both.
CBRE has not disclosed an asking price for the site.
