The restaurant group behind the Ask and Zizzi chains is to open its first Boojum Mexican restaurant on the British mainland.
Azzurri Group, which bought the Irish business in June, has 17 Boojum restaurants, mainly in Belfast and Dublin, and will open its first British mainland site in Leeds, which will also be the location for its first central production kitchen.
The Leeds opening will be followed by “two or three more” before the summer, with the group setting its sites on five a year for the next few years.
