IWG wants 2,000 more UK sites in just five years

IWG wants to open 2,000 new sites across the UK over the next five years.

The flexible working giant is looking to bulk up significantly ahead of a potential New York listing.

The business, which operates brands including Regus and Spaces, currently operates about 400 centres in the UK, but is now scouring for locations across the country, from city centres to the suburbs.

Boss Mark Dixon is betting that flexible working will benefit as companies shrink their head office space and individuals seek workspaces closer to home.

The target would require IWG to open one office a day for the next five years. Over the past year IWG has opened 65 centres in the UK.
