Avant Homes has acquired a 22-acre development site at Pleasley Hill Farm in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.
Avant Homes will submit plans for 396 two-, three- and four-bedroom homes with a range of tenures, as well as 40 affordable units. If approved, the project will have a gross development value of £90m.
The site forms part of a wider mixed-use scheme comprising up to 850 homes and retail and commercial space.
Avant will invest £55m in the development, supporting local businesses and communities over a six- to seven-year period. It has also committed to community contributions of around £2.1m towards the provision of local services, education and healthcare.
Matt Barker, director in charge at Avant Homes Central, said: “This site is an ideal location for us to deliver our range of energy-efficient homes in a place people want to live.
“We look forward to working with Mansfield District Council and submitting our plans to deliver a new and thriving community within the town.”
