Octopus Real Estate has agreed four loans as part of its greener homes alliance initiative with Homes England.
The loans, which total more than £35m, will fund the development of 124 homes in Dover, Kent, Wandsworth and Wimbledon in south west London and Tottenham, north London – delivered by four SME developers.
The alliance pledged to commit £175m in providing both loan finance and support to SME housebuilders, enabling them to build more high-quality, energy-efficient homes throughout England.
Nick White, head of development origination at Octopus Real Estate, said: “Our partnership with Homes England has delivered amazing homes, meeting the highest environmental standards while having a lasting positive impact on local communities.”
