Karl Lagerfeld studio placed under the hammer

Karl Lagerfeld’s former studio and flat on the Quai Voltaire in Paris will be put up for sale at an auction later this month.

The Chanel designer used the 2,800 sq ft flat as a design studio before his death in 2019. It is located in a 1694 building in the Saint-Thomas d’Aquin district.

The property has a guide price of €5.3m (£4.5m). It will be put up for auction on 26 March at the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Located on the third floor, its features include library walls and three giant windows overlooking the Seine. It also offers views of the Louvre and the Tuileries Garden.
