British Land secures trio of Norton Folgate lettings

British Land has signed a trio of tenants at its 335,000 sq ft Norton Folgate, E1, regeneration scheme – its second office occupier and two restaurant operators.

On, a Swiss sportswear brand, has signed for 20,000 sq ft of office space in Loom Court.

Kolamba will open its Kolamba East restaurant in the spring across 2,700 sq ft at 16 Blossom Street, while Xi Home is taking 1,650 sq ft on Blossom Steet and is set to open a branch in the summer.

Law firm Reed Smith has already taken 115,000 sq ft at Blossom Yard & Studios as its new London headquarters.

Norton Folgate borders the Square Mile, Shoreditch and Spitalfields, and comprises six buildings with shops, restaurants and offices.

The blocks are redeveloped Georgian and Victorian buildings and heritage warehouses, with all now rated EPC A or B and BREEAM Excellent or Very Good.

David Lockyer, head of development at British Land, said: “Norton Folgate sets new standards for retrofit, refurbishment and redevelopment in central London.”

Savills acted for British Land on the restaurant lettings; JLL and Allsop advised on the office letting.
