St Modwen Logistics taps SEGRO for director hire

Blackstone-owned developer St Modwen Logistics has hired Adam Haley as a director in its portfolio and asset management team.

Haley joins from SEGRO, where he was responsible for asset management in the national markets portfolio. He is credited with playing a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality logistics parks in line with customers’ evolving warehousing requirements, including the shift toward more sustainable logistics assets.

Before that, Haley worked at DHL, where he gained occupier experience expanding and managing its Midlands portfolio. During his time there, he was responsible for deals totalling more than 3.5m sq ft with an annual rent roll in excess of £18m.

In his new role, Haley will work with Gordon Kellie, head of portfolio, to improve and expand the company’s customer relationships and ensure requirements for sustainable warehousing are met. Haley will also drive collaboration across the firm to optimise asset management and customer engagement initiatives.

The appointment comes ahead of St Modwen Logistics’ rebranding as Indurent. Through the new entity, Blackstone will combine the business with its industrials platform to create a 26m sq ft logistics portfolio.

St Modwen Logistics said Haley will be instrumental in operating and growing Indurent’s portfolio, as the expanded entity seeks to diversify and build its offering.

Haley said: “High-quality sustainable warehousing is an increasingly important tool in the arsenal of occupiers seeking to advance their own net-zero goals and facilitate the sustainable expansion of their business.

“St Modwen Logistics is rightly recognised as a leader in the nationwide provision of space for industrial and logistics occupiers of all sizes. This new role presents the exciting opportunity to work with an extremely talented team to bolster the firm’s track record of developing and managing a portfolio of best-in-class warehousing aligned to customer needs.”
