Brockton Everlast lodges plans for City office revamp

Brockton Everlast wants to revamp its office block at 112-114 Houndsditch, EC3, turning part of it into a marketing suite for a tower it is building across the road.

The developer obtained planning permission two years ago for the 23-storey Dovetail Building at 115-123 Houndsditch.

It now wants to turn part of the block opposite into a marketing suite for that scheme for the next five years. The refurbishment would also include altering the façade of the building, adding a roof terrace, and removing the fourth floor to create a double-height third floor.

Planning documents from DP9 said: “Whilst the existing building at 112-114 Houndsditch is structurally sound, it is currently underperforming and requires investment to bring it into active use in line with the City’s expectations”.
