Goldman appoints managing director for London real estate investment

Goldman Sachs has hired Ivo de Wit as a managing director on the real estate investing team in London.

In his new role, de Wit will lead the strategic direction and growth of the European core-plus offering.

De Wit’s previous roles include managing director at CBRE Investment Management, where he worked for more than a decade until 2021. At CBRE IM, he led its flagship global open-ended core-plus fund.

Before Goldman, de Wit was chief executive at Evolution Global Investors. He is an adjunct professor at Columbia Business School.
