Council set to approve £40m Shepherd’s Bush hotel revamp

Planning officers at Hammersmith & Fulham Council have recommended the £40m refurbishment of the K West Hotel in Shepherd’s Bush for approval.

The hotel is slated to reopen as a 252-bedroom Hotel Indigo, after its owner, Lancaster Landmark Company, signed a deal with InterContinental Hotels Group Hotels & Resorts last year.

It would be the sixth Hotel Indigo in London, and would feature a redesigned restaurant and bar, boutique spa with hydrotherapy pool and business facilities with function rooms.

The scheme will be discussed by the council next week.
