Planning officers have recommended the approval of 246 new homes in Didcot, Oxfordshire.
Permission is expected to be granted during the committee meeting on Wednesday next week.
The scheme, designed by Barton Willmore and constructed by Taylor Wimpey, is expected to be granted approval at a planning committee meeting next week. Of the 246 homes, 86 will be affordable.
The development forms phase 1T of the wider Valley Park masterplan, which includes 4,254 homes, primary schools, community and leisure facilities, open space and extensive green infrastructure.
In September last year, the council approved the delivery of phase 1P, comprising 172 homes. Housebuilder Persimmon Homes Wessex will bring forward this phase of the project.
The remainder of the wider masterplan will come forward as a series of different phases.
