GPE has signed luxury clothing retailer Represent for a 5,000 sq ft flagship store at a Soho scheme.
The company has taken a 10-year lease on two floors at 135/141 Wardour Street, W1, its second store globally following an opening in Los Angeles. The store is expected to open in 2025.
Represent chief executive Paul Spencer said: “For us, London is not just the country’s capital, but also a culture and fashion landmark for the whole of Europe, with more international footfall than anywhere else in the UK. As a British brand, it only makes sense to showcase our collections to the international market there.”
GPE bought the site last year for £39m, with planning consent for a comprehensive refurbishment.
