Custodian Property Income REIT has sold a former JTF Mega Discount Warehouses facility in Warrington, Merseyside, to Edwards Cheshire Company.
The 112,435 sq ft warehouse, which sits on a 6.8-acre site at Chesford Grange in Woolston, adjacent to Junction 21 of the M6 motorway, changed hands for £9m.
The deal comes amid increasing demand for industrial properties across the North West, providing compelling opportunities for investors and occupiers alike.
JLL and DTRE acted as joint agents for the vendor, while Savills represented the purchaser.
Richard Johnson, director of North West industrial and logistics at JLL, said: “The unit attracted strong demand from several parties due to its size, prime location and redevelopment and reletting potential.”
