Housebuilder Bellway has launched a search for a new group finance director following the announcement that Keith Adey is to leave the business.
Adey, who has worked at Bellway for 15 years, the last 12 as group finance director, plans to retire from full-time executive work once a successor has been appointed.
Bellway expects to have a new finance director in place by early 2025.
The housebuilder has also promoted Simon Scougall to the newly created role of chief commercial officer. Scougall, who has been with Bellway for more than 13 years, is currently group general counsel and company secretary. He takes up the new role on 1 August.
