Steven Bartlett has taken a new headquarters in London’s Shoreditch for his podcasting business, best-known for Diary of a CEO.
Bartlett’s Steven Bartlett Ltd has taken 23,000 sq ft at 89 Worship Street, EC2, to turn into a studio and office, complete with private terraces. The building was advertised with a rent of £65 per sq ft.
Belcor acted on behalf of Steven Bartlett, while Making Moves London and Compton were leasing agents for the building.
Shaun Simons of Compton said: “The Worship Street campus is a unique development in the heart of the Shoreditch district. We believe the recent lease to Stephen Bartlett Ltd is the perfect outcome for everyone as the building gains a forward-thinking tenant, while the tenant secures an exceptional and distinctive headquarters for their future growth.”
George Marment of Making Moves London added that the move “[underscores] the ongoing trend of large well-known companies seeking workspace that champions a prime tech location”.
The Dragons’ Den star was due to sign a 10-year lease at 17 Hanbury Street, E1, last year but the deal fell through.
